NFHS Network to broadcast live the 2014 North Coast Section, CIF/NFHS Network Championships
Fans can watch live Online with a subscription at NFHSnetwork. The event will also be available on mobile devices at m.nfhsnetwork.com and subscribers can download the NFHS Network app from the iTunes store. Other contests may also be available live in earlier rounds depending on the participation of the involved schools in the NFHS Network School Broadcast Program.
Fans, family and alumni unable to attend the event can tune-in live from wherever they are on the NFHS Network. The NFHS Network is the most comprehensive location for coverage of boys and girls high school sports, performing arts and activities.
FOUR FOOTBALL CLINICS - PRACTICE LIKE PROS - TO BE OFFERED IN THE MONTH OF FEBRUARY, 2015
Four Practice Like Pros Clinics, Presented by Safe Kids Worldwide, and endorsed by the California Interscholastic Federation, will be conducted in the month of February 2015 to assist high school football coaches in the conduct of practices that mandate less contact time on the practice field in accordance to California Assembly Bill 2127, which becomes state law January 1, 2015. Included in the conduct of the clinic will be NFL Hall of Famers Warren Moon and Anthony Munoz, Seattle Seahawks Coach Rocky Seto and Dartmouth Head Coach Buddy Teevens. 2014 NCS Foundation Games - Tuesday, November 25
The following schools are participating in the 2014 Foundation Basketball Game Scholarship Program. Funds earned in the program are put towards $1,000 scholarships granted by North Coast Section, CIF member schools in the spring. Many thanks for our participating schools.
Russ Peterich Presented the NCS Distinguished Service Award

|Russ Peterich, longtime teach, coach and athletic administrator was presented the NCS Distinguished Service Award at the October 20, 2014 Board of Managers meeting in El Cerrito, CA. Mr. Peterich has served NCS member schools for over 40 years, is a member of the California Coaches Hall of Fame, has received Teacher of the Year honors in the Santa Rosa City Schools District and has served on many NCS committees, serving member school and over 80,000 student-athletes. Congratulations to Russ!!|
CIF FEDERATED COUNCIL APPROVED NEW PRACTICE GUIDELINES STARTING WITH THE 2014-2015 SCHOOL YEAR
The CIF Federated Council approved new practice guidelines at their recent Federated Council meeting in Los Angeles May 2nd. The guidelines limit all athletic activities to no more than eighteen (18) hours of practice time per week and no more than four (4) fours in any single day.
