The event will also be available on mobile devices at m.nfhsnetwork.com and subscribers can download the NFHS Network app from the iTunes store. Other contests may also be available live in earlier rounds depending on the participation of the involved schools in the NFHS Network School Broadcast Program.
Fans, family and alumni unable to attend the event can tune-in live from wherever they are on the NFHS Network. The NFHS Network is the most comprehensive location for coverage of boys and girls high school sports, performing arts and activities.
CIF ANNOUNCES 2014-2015 CIF/FARMERS SCHOLAR-ATHLETE OF THE YEAR AWARD WINNERS - COLE MOODY, SOUTH FORK HS SELECTED AS THE MALE WINNER
|Cole Moody, South Fork High School senior, is the top male scholar-athlete for the California Interscholastic Federation, a prestigious achievement, beating out approximately 100,000 other male seniors who participate in athletics at their CIF member school. Amanda Kirkeby, Mammoth High School, CIF Southern Section, was the female winner. Each student will receive $5,000. An additional 20 seniors, one male and one female from each of the 10 CIF Sections received $2,000 grants. TOM WELSH AND BOB ROBERTS SELECTED AS THE 2015 PHIL HEMPLER AWARD WINNERS
|Tom Welsh, current Bay Area Conference Commissioner, and Bob Roberts, former Catholic Athletic League, East Shore Athletic League and Alameda-Contra Costa County Athletic League Commissioner, were selected as the 2015 Phil Hempler Award winners, presented their awards at the recent Board of Managers meeting May 28 at Mira Vista Golf and Country Club, El Cerrito, CA. The Phil Hempler Award is given to individuals who have exemplified the highest standards of sportsmanship, ethical conduct and moral character in their unique and distinguished service to North Coast Section, CIF.
