CIF Master Assessor and CIF Assessor Home Page

Persons interested in becoming CIF Assessors may contact the NCS Office, Attn. Gil Lemmon, at the number below. Mr. Lemmon’s extension is 21. CIF Assessors must be medical practitioners and be approved by NCS staff. Medical practitioners are as follows:
- Persons eligible to be trained as CIF Master Assessors and/or CIF Assessors shall be medical practitioners (e.g. physician, registered nurse, licensed nurse practitioner, certified athletic trainers, physical therapist, physician’s assistant, nutritionist, health educator, exercise physiologist) or other persons approved by the State CIF.
  Note: Assessors cannot be active coaches. Individuals who are related to either the coach or to one or more athletes should not be involved in the testing process for that school.

Individuals interested in becoming a CIF Weight Management Assessor must arrange to attend a certification session conducted by Commissioner Gil Lemmon. Interested individuals may contact Mr. Lemmon at 925-263-2110 x21.
Current CIF Assessors will be contacted regarding re-certification for the 2011-2012 school year. Attendance to a re-certification class is not required for 2011-2012.
