North Coast Section, CIF Announces Henri Sarlatte as Assistant Commissioner

NORTH COAST SECTION, CIF ANNOUNCES HENRI SARLATTE AS ASSISTANT COMMISSIONER
SAN RAMON, CALIF. – The North Coast Section (NCS) of the California Interscholastic Federation (CIF) has announced the hiring of Henri Sarlatte as Assistant Commissioner, effective Aug. 1, 2026.
Sarlatte, who earned his bachelor’s degree from California State University, Sacramento, brings more than 30 years of experience in interscholastic athletics to the Section office. Since 2014, he has served as Assistant Principal at Rancho Cotate High School. Over the course of his distinguished career, he has held roles as an educator, athletic director, coach and school administrator, developing a comprehensive understanding of high school athletics and educational leadership.
As Athletic Director at Rancho Cotate High School, Sarlatte oversaw an athletics program encompassing more than 22 sports. His responsibilities included supervising coaching staffs, managing budgets, coordinating facilities, scheduling competitions and ensuring compliance with CIF, NCS and league bylaws.
“Henri’s extensive experience as an athletic leader makes him an outstanding addition to our staff, said Commissioner-designate Bri Niemi. “Throughout his career, Henri has demonstrated a deep commitment to serving student-athletes and advancing educational athletics. We are excited to welcome him to the NCS leadership team.”

NCS is a non-profit service organization with member public and private schools, whose purpose it is to administer boys’ and girls’ athletics in secondary schools (grades 9-12).
