Alameda HS Varsity Football
Sportsmanship in Action:
At the September 26 varsity football game between Alameda and Newark Memorial, a Newark player sustained a serious injury late in the first half and required emergency care.
In the days that followed, the Alameda High School Football program showed incredible compassion and empathy by sending heartfelt messages and organizing a “Get Well” basket for the injured player.
On October 7, Alameda HS parents personally delivered the basket and a team-signed poster to Newark Memorial.
This thoughtful gesture exemplifies the true spirit of sportsmanship, caring for one another beyond competition.
Thank you, Alameda High School Football, for demonstrating kindness, respect, and unity through your actions.
