Richmond HS Softball Team

Sometimes "sportsmanship" happens off the field and in the community. The Richmond High School Oilers 2026 varsity softball team (coached by Mike Lefevere) volunteered to serve at the West County Salesian Youth Club (WCSYC) in San Pablo.

The WCSYC is an organization that has been in existence for over 70 years. Their mission is to empower youth to believe in themselves in order to build a positive future. The organization provides programs in sports, learning and academic support and a music program. Their focus is to promote creativity, passion and skills growth. It is a non-government program that is supported through community donations and support by individuals, private institutions and businesses.

The softball team was well received and greatly appreciated for their teamwork and support for the WCSYC. The NCS and TCAL are proud of the Oiler softball team for contributing to their community!
